Travelling for a long period of time, can be very tiring! Constantly being on the move, walking miles-a-day can really be draining especially with oppressive heat and a large backpack. We had both reached the point of, please no more!  So we decided we needed a much deserved, relaxing pamper day.

With that in mind, I went online to track down our options. I managed to stumble across a real gem, an unusual spa that caught by eye as it was a egg themed spa!!

It’s called 100 Egg Spa or Tram Trung which is situated 20 minutes outside of Nha Trang. The whole park including a spa is egg themed which even includes a zoo!

For 400,000 VND that’s £13 you can enjoy a mud bath in a private egg shaped tub and afterwards a hot mineral bath with herbs. Doesn’t that sound like a cracking, egg-ceptional day out!? Sorry I couldn’t resist.

Access to their egg-shaped swimming pool, jacuzzi and waterfall are all included in the price. Cheaper options are available if you want to go into a public mud bath but from what we saw, we were happy for the tranquillity of our own private egg. Be warned, there were lots of asian tour groups in the public section and overall that’s what people complain about on TripAdvisor due to their overall noise level.
